Anime style: Ranma 1/2 90's casual style!

Sorry I haven't done post in ages, and I feel like I've been neglecting this blog; so there's nothing like watching anime to get back in the bath!!
I have to admit that I didn't watch all 143 episodes but I gave it a good shop and here is a compilation of the fashion in Ranma 1/2 when they're not in uniform! It's typical early 90s J-pop fashion but I love how each character has his/her particular style! But isn't Shampoo everyone's favourite?

Takayama Showa Kan Museum

First post in a long while! sorry I was a bit lazy!
So I wanted to do a post on an amazing Museum in Japan in the city of Takayama, if you get a chance to go there you cannot miss this place, it's amazing!!!!!
The museum is about the Showa period of Japanese history (1926–1989) and reconstructs a typical street of the time with shops brimming with original objects!
the museum started from a privet collection and has been added with donations ever since.
It's quiet magical as you walk through the reconstructed street and and look at the beautiful move posters and shop signs, you can go in the shops along the street, as well as restaurants and even a doctor's cabinet!
I got super exited in the toy shop obviously, so many cute objects!!!
There's also a cinema and upstairs a reconstructed class room and a traditional house!

We spent hours in there hanging out on the street bench, watching old film reels, and of course looking through every objects!!! I seriously recommend this place!!!

And over the road there's a barber who's famous for owning the biggest collection of life size cardboard cutout adverts!

DIY CANDY

I haven't made a post in a while cos I was away for a couple of weeks in JAPAN and I bought back loads of things for the shop including some DIY candies, arggg they're so cute they're hard to acully eat, you just want to keep them!!!!!
I will be making more posts on the other goodies I got in the next few weeks.

So we had a Takoyaki (a popular japanese snack made out of dough and octopus shaped like a ball) event at the shop so we decided to try out the takoyaki set!

It wasn't complicated to follow the instructions although they're in japanese and it's overall fairly simple to make the takoyaki once we stopped stressing about getting it right!!!

the result????
well they didn't look as good as on the packaging but it was really fun to do, kind of cute science!!! and the taste you ask? well it tasted super artificial, just like candy!!! the 2 different textures between the ball and the octopus was interesting but not to everyone's taste!
