Kids toys are not especially known for being at the forefront of graphic design, but you can see here that some 80s and early 90s toys being seriously influenced by the Memphis Group! Especially the more youthfull fashion orientated lines like cool tops Skipper, Hot looks dolls, and Fashion star fillies (fashionable horse!) and of course Jem and the holograms. I'm guessing the popularity of shows like save by the bell and MTV popularized that style until it was everywhere!
